1.  Availability

 

If you're interested in making a reservation, please start by checking our availability calendar, which is regularly updated. Just click on the link located on othe upper righthand side of this page.

 

2.  Courtesy Hold

 

 If your dates are available, please call or email with details and we'll hold these dates until we receive an advance deposit in the mail.  We block out dates on the calendar once we receive a deposit. Deposits can be made online (see online payments page) or can be mailed to Karen Akins, 283 Maple Street, Stowe, VT 05672.

 

3.  Deposit

 

Normally we require one half of the total amount plus a $300 refundable deposit up front.  The other half  is due upon arrival. Payment can be made by personal check or by credit card using PayPal (see oneline payments page ).  A  9% Vermont Bed and Lodging Tax will be added to all stays of less than 30 days.

 

4.  Cancellation

 

Due to the nature of our business, we do not refund deposits upon cancellation unless we are able to rent the property again. 

 

5.  Security Deposit

 

Security deposits are returned by mail or PayPal within a couple of days of departure.

 

6.  Pets

 

We allow one well behaved dog and will consider other pets.  Please contact us to discuss arrangements.

 

7.  Snow Removal

 

We arrange for plowing the driveway, but expect tenants to shovel their own walkways and apply salt to their own entry.  A shovel and bag of salt will be provided.

 

8.  Ski Storage

 

Skis, snowboards, and sleds can be placed on the front porch. No ski boots in house please.

 

9.  Smoking

 

No smoking under any circumstances.
